Tuesday: Out and About February 24, 2009

It is so nice to have a car during the day. We’ve had full days out of the house all last week and this week so far too. Yesterday we went to the grocery store and stopped to pick up lunch. Today we’re going to run to the laundrymat to wash someting that’s too big for my washer and to Walgreens to pick up some pictures, and then to the park. One of these days I’m going to have to make it out to my dads’ house. I keep thinking I will, and then everything else come up and I forget.

Anyway, I’ll post a little part of what we’re going to Walgreens for.

Friday: The Thirteenth February 13, 2009

I had to come on and write something today to let everyone know how proud I am of my dad, and how much I love him, even though he doesn’t like to hear it.

For the past two years  (or so, honestly I’m not entirely sure) my dad has been doing a bit of acting and has been an extra on Friday Night Lights many times. This past summer he also got cast a bit role in a movie, that was released today, Friday the 13th. (We didn’t talk much about the role, but it was something about a goat-roper… Hmmm… something about the casting guys liking his overalls… probably the beard too)

I figured I needed to get on here and toot his horn a little bit and tell him congratulations!

Tuesday: Return of the Queen February 10, 2009

Sorry about that. I haven’t had anything interesting to say lately, and I’ve been pretty busy too! Most of this post is going to revolve around pictures so I’ll just start with that and blog about them from there:

We got a new sofa so we re-arranged the house, and now the kids’ toys are back in the hallway.

The bedroom has been moved to the front of the house and we got some rugs and everything, so it’s looking pretty nice, if it were only clean!

I made some fleece soakers this week, and I think they turned out pretty nice.

I can’t wait to make some more!

We went out yesterday and bought two little mice for Evan. We named them Simon (the brown one) and Garfunkle.

We like our cute little additions to the family. I’m very happy to have little critters in the house again. The other pictures are just going to be random. I’m going to include one of my almost-finished belly cast. I have a feeling it’s not going to change for a long while. There are also some pictures of the kids thrown in there that I had to share. In other news: I ordered my Labor Support Training package yesterday (yay!) and Brians’ computer should arrive tomorrow!
